Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties, LLC had eleven of its agents in addition to its resales team honored during the recently-held annual awards banquet for the Lake Country Board of Realtors (LCBOR).

Riezl Baker received the evening’s top award as “Realtor of the Year.” This honor is given to a realtor who has demonstrated exceptional qualifications and is deemed outstanding for their contribution in the areas of business accomplishments, realtor image, local board and civic activity. Baker, who was also the top producer for Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties for 2013, serves on the Good Samaritan Hospital board, is involved in the hospital’s capital campaign as marketing/communications chair and recently chaired the organization’s fundraising gala. Baker is currently serving her second term as vice president of the Lake Country Board of Realtors.

In addition to the recognition of individual agents, The Reynolds Lake Oconee Resales Team -- led  by Rhonda Williams and including Joanne Bigelow, Kim Robinson, Mary Cronic, Elaine Harris, Lauren Roese and Debra Somers -- was awarded “Gold Award, Top Team of the Year” for listing over $19 million of sold properties last year.

“The resale team honor is particularly exciting for us,” says Lee Arberg, senior vice president of sales for Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties. “Our company places a great deal of emphasis on resales and is the only firm with a team dedicated exclusively to listing properties withinReynolds Lake Oconee. This prestigious award is a wonderful recognition of their efforts and success.”

Several other individual sales executives at Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties accepted awards for their impressive 2013 sales numbers. Ron Kalpak joined Baker in generating more than Three Million Dollars in sales in the year, while Dianne Spires and Micki Tanner both exceeded Two Million Dollars in sales.

Sales executives Debbie Balicki, Joe Carter, Susan Couch, Sue Oxenford, Gene Lowe, and Don Weir each produced over $1 million in real estate sales for 2013, qualifying them for inclusion in the prestigious “Million Dollar Club.”

Demonstrating consistency in performance, Tanner and Lowe were also honored with the celebrated “Phoenix Award,” reserved for realtors who have been top producers in the Million Dollar Club for ten consecutive years. Baker and Balicki were each honored with the “Phoenix Award” in 2011 and have each continued to produce $1 million in sales in each successive year.

“To have the Realtor of the Year and eight other members of our team all sell more than one million dollars of real estate, all within the gates of Reynolds Lake Oconee, speaks volumes about this group’s ability,” says Lee Arberg, senior vice president of sales for Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties.

Last but certainly not least, sales executive Buddy Watts received the “Community Service Award” for his extensive work with local charities. Watts is past president of the Rotary Clubs of both Greene & Putnam county and Snellville and currently serves as president of the Board of Directors Old Salem Fire Department and is a member of the Reynolds Veterans Association.

Watts’ spirit of generosity and dedication to volunteerism is a characteristic admired by his fellow realtors. “Buddy gives back to this community in so many ways and is an inspiration to us all,” says fellow agent Chuck Walsh, who was on-hand to present the award. “This special honor from his peers recognizes countless years of unselfish service to the entire community,” says Walsh.

Asked to reflect upon the success of his team as a whole, Arberg credits the members and residents of Reynolds Lake Oconee who have placed their trust in them. “We thank our members for their generous support in 2013 and over the past two decades and look forward to continuing to earn their business in years to come.”
