Reynolds Lake Oconee is proud to announce the recipients of its Fourth Quarter Employee Awards for 2017. Ryan Frisch, Head Golf Professional of The Oconee course, has been named Leader of the Quarter while Doug Benson, Cart Attendant at Great Waters, and Edna Ogletree, Payroll/Staff Accountant, have been named Employees of the Quarter.

Before joining the Reynolds team more than 13 years ago, Ryan Frisch worked as a Golf Professional for Shaker Run Golf Course in Lebanon, Ohio. In his time at Reynolds, Frisch has had the opportunity to work at all six of the golf courses, some of them twice.

“The diversity of working at all of the courses helped me to learn the different aspects of the golf business,” says Frisch. “I have also enjoyed the relationships I have been able to create with both members and staff by working across the property.”

Frisch spends much of his free time bass fishing on Lake Oconee and other lakes across the southeast. He and Emily live in Eatonton and have three children, Preston, 16, Lily, 12 and Brooks, 2. Frisch is also an active member of PGA of America.

Doug Benson worked at a packaging warehouse prior to his 24-year career with Reynolds. Benson’s favorite part of his day-to-day experience at Reynolds is the interactions he has with members.

“I really enjoy working at Great Waters,” says Benson. “The professional staff and members are great and I look forward to seeing them each day. I like to think of them as part of my family. ”

When he is not at Great Waters, Benson likes to give back to his community by volunteering his free time at various senior citizen centers. He is an active member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Benson is also an avid sports lover and enjoys spending time with his family.

Edna Ogletree worked for Chandler Construction before joining the Reynolds accounting team in March 2001. While she is involved in the daily accounting and payroll processing for the company, it’s the personable atmosphere she enjoys most.

“I love everything about my job,” says Ogletree. “There’s a great mix of people at Reynolds, both employees and members.”

Away from the office, Ogletree enjoys working in her yard and spending time with friends and family. She is a proud mother to her two children, Kala Jo Ogletree and Eric Foster.
