Riezl Baker Named Salesperson of the Month for Reynolds
Written by Lauren Bassett
Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties, LLC is pleased to announce Riezl Baker as Salesperson of the Month for August with five sales transactions totaling over $1.7 million.
This is Baker’s second Salesperson of the Month award for 2018, following her recognition for the month of June. Last year, Baker earned a spot in the Top 4 of the individual category of The Lake Country Board of Realtor’s Million Dollar Plus Club, and in 2016, she received the Eagle Award for 15 consecutive years of being a million dollar producer in Lake Oconee.
A Sales Executive with Reynolds for over 18 years, Baker has cultivated a strong customer base, including Lynn Bonner, who recently purchased a lot at Great Waters. “Riezl was an awesome new experience for us,” says Bonner. “We haven’t had good experiences with previous real estate agents. She blew our expectations with her approach to not only viewing the properties but with her expertise of the area, wide knowledge of the counties, assistance with the negotiating, and going the extra mile to make sure we had all the info needed to make a good decision. She didn’t just escort us to properties, she listened to our needs. She is far from your average real estate agent. We will definitely refer to her again when the time comes to buy again or sell. If you are interested in real estate, call Riezl!”
Baker and her husband, Ted, have two children, Stu, 15, and Remi, 12 who both attend Lake Oconee Academy. Baker has mastered the art of work-life balance, enjoying the unparalleled amenities offered at Reynolds with her family while staying loyal to her customers.
Reynolds Member, Lisa Dolan, can attest to Baker’s dedication. “Riezl helped me buy a house 12 years ago,” says Dolan. “She happened to deliver her baby around the time of closing. She was in labor in the hospital, but still on the phone handling details. She brought her new baby to the walk through. If that isn’t dedication! Riezl is knowledgeable, personable and helpful. I’m currently using her as my agent again.”
As both a buyer’s and seller’s agent, Baker has a wealth of knowledge, creating a unique and smooth experience for each of her clients. She recently helped John and Betsy Russell sell their home. “It was a real pleasure to list our house with Riezl Baker,” says Betsy. “I can’t begin to say enough good things: how seamless the listing, showings, and closing went. Her attention to detail, service, immediate feedback and response to any questions we had was unparalleled.”
Baker is actively involved in the community, including serving as Chairman of the St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation Board and chairing the hospital’s biggest fundraiser, the Heart and Soul Gala, for 3 years. She is also the Past-President of The Lake Country Board of Realtors and an avid supporter of the Oconee Performing Arts Society.
This involvement allows Baker to further assist future homebuyers, including Tim and Donna Joyner, who purchased a home in 2015 and moved from Arizona. “We loved working with Riezl,” says Tim. “Her knowledge of the local area is immense. She is very involved with the community, so she is aware of community issues and plans. “She kept us well-informed during the purchase process and we now consider her our friend as well.”
