Jo Ann Bigelow

Sales Executive

Jo Ann has only lived in two counties her entire life.

Jo Ann Bigelow never looked back.

As a member of the Reynolds Lake Oconee Resale Team, Jo Ann Bigelow has been helping owners market and sell their properties since 2005. A native “Buckeye,” Jo Ann is originally from Canton, Ohio, where she worked as an intensive care nurse for a number of years and later as one of the top producers for a prominent wholesale company selling plumbing and heating equipment. After discovering Lake Oconee in the early ‘90s and visiting annually for a number of years, she moved to the area permanently in 2005, obtained her Georgia real estate and brokers license, and has never looked back.

When she is not listing property, Jo Ann enjoys gardening, boating and jet skiing on beautiful Lake Oconee and entertaining family and friends with her husband, Al, at their lake home. In a waterfront cabin with expansive views, Jo Ann loves showing her guests the true “Lake Oconee experience” by arriving to their favorite restaurants via boat. The Bone Island Grill is always a popular choice.

An enthusiastic reader, Jo Ann will always preorder David Baldacci’s newest novel. A lover of all varieties though, her recent favorite is “The Girl with Seven Names” by David John and Lee Hyeon-seo.

On a Saturday afternoon, you can find Jo Ann and Al perusing the abundant local antique shops. Self-described “junkers,” they’ve been known to point their car in a direction and drive, hitting all the antique shops and flea markets along the way before turning back. Once, they made it all the way to Maine.

The lure of the lake and Jo Ann’s rewarding work with Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties always draws them back though, no matter how far they may go.
