Chip Perry Honored with the Phoenix Award
This year, Chip Perry is the recipient of the Phoenix Award, which honors elite members who have achieved Top Producer status for 10 consecutive years—professionals who demonstrate unwavering excellence, commitment, and impact within the Lake Country real estate community. His deep roots and tireless dedication to Reynolds Lake Oconee have shaped a lasting legacy of excellence. Chip Perry’s journey with Lake Oconee began in childhood, when his parents purchased a lake lot shortly after Georgia Power dammed the Oconee River in 1979. He spent his early years fishing and skiing on the lake, forming a strong connection to the area that would one day become both his home and the focus of his career. In 1993, he moved to Lake Oconee to attend Georgia College and State University. After working in corporate sales with Kraft Foods, he entered real estate in 2002, gaining valuable experience and eventually running his own brokerage before joining the Reynolds Sales Team in 2015.
Since then, Perry has become a respected leader in the Reynolds real estate community. Known for his work ethic, local expertise, and detailed knowledge of market inventory, he has guided hundreds of clients in finding their ideal property. His dedication has earned him Top Producer recognition from the Lake Country Board of Realtors every year since 2015, with career sales exceeding $100 million at Reynolds Lake Oconee. Outside of real estate, Perry is a devoted family man. His wife, Tina, is an accomplished artist, and their sons, Jackson and Alex, thrived at Lake Oconee Academy and continue to succeed as college students. The Perry family has built, remodeled, and invested in Reynolds over the years, deepening their connection to the community. Chip Perry’s recognition with The Phoenix Award honors not only a decade of outstanding achievement, but a lifelong commitment to the place he proudly calls home.
