From professional tennis player to Sales Executive, Ron Kalpak has spent over 30 years shaping the Reynolds community he first fell in love with as a college student. Whether he’s on the courts, on the lake, or behind one of his five grills, Ron brings passion and energy to everything he does. Now officially an empty nester, he and his wife Heidi are excited for this next chapter at Reynolds.
What do you love most about helping people find their home at Reynolds?
Every home is different, and every buyer has different needs and wants. I love problem-solving (not selling). When someone purchases a home in Reynolds, it means that they are going to start spending more time here and, therefore, creating memories! To see families gather at their new home during the holidays for the first time, or celebrate special occasions there, it makes me happy to know that I played a small part.
How did you get started in real estate?
My very first job at Reynolds was as a Tennis Pro. I gave a lesson to one of the real estate executives here at Reynolds, and he asked if I would like to work for him. That was in 1992, and I have been in the business here ever since.
If you had a free afternoon at Reynolds, how would you spend it?
I don’t have many of those, but when I do, I like to do as many things as possible! I would start with some pickleball or tennis, then fish the Reynolds ponds with my fly rod, then catch a little pool time at the Landing, and end the day with something on the grill on my back deck.
