Tyler Mayer has been named Director of Wellness for Reynolds Lake Oconee. In his new role for the members of this prestigious, lakefront golf resort community, Tyler will oversee operations for member wellness, fitness, spa, racquets, paddle, and aquatics activities.
Prior to joining Reynolds, Mayer served as the Director of Fitness at Desert Highlands Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. Mayer also held positions as the Lifestyle Director at Blackstone Country Club in Vistancia, AZ, Sports Club Manager at Arrowhead Country Club and was an event manager for Walt Disney World Resorts at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Kissimmee, FL. In addition, Tyler managed several large commercial gyms such as World Gym and 24-Hour Fitness.

All four of the community’s fitness facilities – The Lake Club, The Landing, Great Waters, and Richland Pointe —have Technogym’s revolutionary gym equipment, which sets Reynolds apart from almost every community in the country. This exciting new system complements 21 miles of idyllic walking and hiking trails, over 90 fitness classes a week, 6 resort pools, 16 hard and clay tennis courts, nine Pickleball courts, 117 holes of golf on six world-class golf courses (as well as The Kingdom club fitting and game improvement center), plus access to water sports and recreation on the 19,000-acre Lake Oconee.
Mayer and his wife Jenna, sons Nathan (10) and Andrew (7), and their 70-pound Waimaraner will reside in Greensboro.
