Chip's Biography
Chip Perry's love for Lake Oconee runs deep. Shortly after Georgia Power dammed the Oconee River in 1979, Chip’s parents purchased a lake lot, beginning a lifelong connection to the area. Chip grew up fishing its coves and skiing its waters—mornings spent casting a line and afternoons skiing behind the same bass boat. Those formative years laid the foundation for his intimate knowledge of Lake Oconee and what would later become Reynolds Lake Oconee. Decades ago, he never imagined Greensboro would evolve into the premier destination for luxury living and Southern hospitality that it is today.
In 1993, Chip moved to Lake Oconee to attend Georgia College & State University. After graduating, he built a successful career in corporate sales and customer service with Kraft Foods before transitioning into real estate in 2002. He gained valuable experience working with developers and later operating his own independent brokerage until 2015.
Though his career took him in different directions, Chip’s heart never left the lake. In January 2015, he made the decision to fully commit to the lifestyle and community he loved by joining the Reynolds Lake Oconee Sales Team. Since then, he has helped hundreds of clients find the perfect fit within Reynolds.
That passion has fueled an award-winning real estate career. Chip is widely known for his strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and unmatched knowledge of both current and upcoming inventory. He has earned the distinction of Top Producer by the Lake Country Board of Realtors every year since 2015 and has closed more than $200 million in Reynolds Lake Oconee real estate.
Chip’s wife, Tina, is an accomplished artist whose work has been featured at the Ritz-Carlton’s Linger Longer Steakhouse and showcased in previous Reynolds model homes. Their two sons, Jackson and Alex, thrived as students at Lake Oconee Academy and now continue to excel at the University of Georgia. The Perry family has bought, remodeled, and built multiple homes within Reynolds, giving Chip invaluable firsthand experience that enhances his ability to guide clients with confidence, insight, and authenticity. The Perry family attends Lakeside Church and is deeply connected to the Lake Oconee community.
