David Hoersten

Sales Executive

David once picked up Jack Nicklaus from the Milledgeville Airport.

David Hoersten’s childhood dream has come true.

David Hoersten comes from the First Family of Great Waters — literally.

His father, Scott Hoersten, was the first VP of Planning & Development for the property, and in 1989, he built the first home in Great Waters. Some of David’s fondest memories include riding around each of the golf courses with his father while they were under construction, as well as playing the back nine of Great Waters with two members of The Doors.

Now, after managing and selling multifamily housing complexes in the Southeast for the past eight years, David joins Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties. It will be both a homecoming and a family affair, as he’ll be working alongside his father and his sister, Kelly.

Things have come full circle with the move home, as David has wanted to be a Reynolds Sales Executive since he was young. He believes that being part of the first generation of kids to grow up here affords him a unique perspective to better serve his clients. Aside from work, David feels most “at home” on the familiar waters of Lake Oconee — boating, fishing and just relaxing. He can also be found at The National Tavern, his favorite restaurant, or spending an evening on a back porch with family enjoying cigars at sunset.

David enjoys Braves baseball, Georgia football, quality bourbon, good cigars and wraparound porches with lake vista views.
