Chip's Biography

Chip Perry's love for Lake Oconee runs deep. Chip’s parents bought a lake lot on Lake Oconee shortly after Georgia Power dammed the Oconee River in 1979 to create the lake. Chip grew up learning how to fish and to ski on Lake Oconee. Days were spent fishing in the morning and skiing behind the same bass boat in the afternoon. These experiences marked the beginning of his comprehensive knowledge of Reynolds and Lake Oconee. He never dreamed decades ago that Greensboro would transform into the epitome of luxury living and Southern hospitality that he now knows so well.

In 1993, Chip moved to Lake Oconee to attend Georgia College and State University. After college, Chip worked in corporate sales and customer service for Kraft Foods before, then began his career in real estate in 2002. Chip worked for other developers and then operated his own independent brokerage until 2015.

Chip’s heart had never left the lake, and decided to go all in and joined the Reynolds team in January 2015, he decided to join the Reynolds Sales Team where he has since helped hundreds of customer in their search for just the right fit at Reynolds.

This passion has fueled his award-winning real estate career here at the lake. Chip is known for his work ethic, attention to detail, and high level of expertise. His knowledge of current and upcoming inventory is unsurpassed. He has earned the title of Top Producer by the Lake Country Board of Realtors each year since 2015, selling over $100m in Reynolds Lake Oconee real estate.

Chip’s wife, Tina, is an accomplished artist and owner of Olive and Hive, a local specialty store, featuring olive oils and balsamic vinegars from around the world.
