Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Linger Longer Invitational returns March 19–22 to Great Waters at Reynolds Lake Oconee for a milestone year of championship competition. Co-hosted by the University of Georgia, Mercer University, and Kennesaw State University, the tournament has grown into one of the premier events in men’s collegiate golf. Over three rounds of 54-hole stroke play, the nation’s top programs and brightest young players will compete in a format that showcases both individual and team excellence. Open to spectators, this event offers a front-row seat to the future of the professional game.

Over the past two decades, the Linger Longer Invitational has served as a launching pad for PGA TOUR standouts including Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler, Scottie Scheffler, Brooks Koepka, Harris English, and Nick Dunlap. The 2026 field once again brings together an impressive lineup of powerhouse programs from across the country to compete at Great Waters, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Design and one of the Southeast’s most scenic courses. With nine holes lining the shores of Lake Oconee and a dramatic blend of Georgia pines and sweeping waterfront vistas, Great Waters provides a championship-caliber stage worthy of this landmark 20th anniversary event.
