Reynolds Lake Oconee has been recognized on two of Golfweek's Best lists for 2025: Top 200 residential golf courses in the U.S. and the Top 200 resort courses in the U.S.

Golfweek's course rating panel evaluates and ranks courses based on 10 criteria and file a single, overall rating for each course. These ratings are then averaged together to produce a final, cumulative score and ranked against other courses in the region. These lists focus on the golf courses themselves, not the community or resorts as whole.
