On Saturday, April 12, two members of the Reynolds Lake Oconee Men’s Golf Association, Larry Blackwell (left) and Buddy Estle (right), accomplished an amazing feat.
Playing together at The Landing, each man aced Par 3 Hole #11 back to back. Larry was first to make his hole-in-one. His partner, Buddy, then teed it up and knocked in his ace right on top of Larry’s!
The National Hole-in-One Registry estimates the odds at 17 million to one against two players in the same foursome making a hole-in-one together on the same hole! The feat was witnessed by playing partners, Al Hoyle and Mark Lipscome.
Congratulations to Larry and Buddy for their once in a lifetime accomplishment!
