Health & Wellness at Reynolds Lake Oconee
At Reynolds℠, there are several ways to refresh the mind, body, and spirit. Enjoy the 38,000-square-foot Lake Club where many Cclub members utilize the expansive and newly renovated fitness center, fitness classes, and three unique swimming pools. Residents Members can test their skills at the Lake Club Tennis Center, a USTA Outstanding Facility Awards program winner. Outside of the Lake Club facilities, Reynolds Lake Oconee is home to three other swimming pools and three other tennis facilities, totaling 16 courts in all. Aside from the recreational and wellness-focused facilities, there are over 21 miles of nature walking trails to explore.
Beyond the gates of Reynolds lies various private practice physicians who cover an array of specialties and two hospital systems. Under a mile from one of the community’s entrances, Cowles Clinic is the largest medical complex in the Lake Oconee area with more than 60 physicians in 36 specialties, a state-licensed laboratory, and the Georgia Center for Total Cancer Care. Located in Lake Oconee Village, Georgia Regents Medical Associates offers primary care services, along with 15 specialty services.
Opened in November of 2013, St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital is a 25-bed, acute-care, critical-access hospital serving greater Greene County and the Lake Oconee communities of Georgia. As part of the St. Mary’s Health Care System since early 2012, the hospital is a not-for-profit Catholic hospital guided by St. Mary’s mission to be a compassionate healing presence in the communities served. St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and provides 24/7 emergency care, inpatient care, surgical services, a swing-bed program for extended recovery, and numerous outpatient services including 64-slice CT scanning, mammography, radiography, ultrasound, sleep disorders center, and rehabilitative services.
